This sculpture is as much about losing time as it is about gaining insight into my system. One of my Alter’s is a shape shifter represented by the bird head. He guides me when I am lost and keeps me safe.
It is made from a repurposed metronome that is off beat when played, as well as a music box that is also out of tune. Top of the body is a brass vase upside down the bird skull is cast metal made by an artist represented at Salamagundi West. Collection of found wheels, metal caps, reused nails, screws, bones, metal and old clock parts come together creating something completely different with its own story “In Time” Now.
Dimensions: h 16”x w 6” weight approx., 3lbs.
